Alvaro Morata is my idol. He is an exciting footballer. He is young, fast, talented and technically sound player. He has played some excellent matches for Real Madrid, his current club and The Spanish National Football Team. This essay is dedicated to him.
His fans lovingly call him Alvarito. His real name is Alvaro Borja Morata Martin. He was born on 23 October 1992 in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
He was very lucky to be born in Madrid – a football crazy city. This city is home to some of the largest football clubs in Spain. Real Madrid is arguably one of the best clubs in the world. Real Madrid is located in Madrid, Spain.
Since childhood, he was interested in various sports. As a child, he tried his hand at tennis. Though he was a decent tennis player, he realized that his true love was football. When it comes to football, he was naturally talented and very gifted.
His father had a great role in the early phase of his career. His father supported him in many ways. He found time to accompany his son to tournaments.
His childhood home was located near the ground of Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. While he played for youth teams, he attracted the attention of scouts from Atletico Madrid. They noticed his skills and natural talent. Thus, he made his way to their books.
After starting off at Atletico, he moved to Getafe. From there, he made his way to Real Madrid! It was not an easy journey for him. Initially, he played for junior division of the Club (B Team).
After putting up some impressive displays for the B Team, the coach took note of him. It was quite evident that Morata was destined to play for the first team.
Real Madrid’s fans, staff and media pundits could see a new version of Fernando Morientes in him. His style of play had an uncanny resemblance to the former Blanco’s player.
With time, Morata cemented his place in the first team. Still, he was hungry for more. He wanted more playing time. This is perhaps the reason why he moved to Italian club Juventus.
At Juventus, he had a great time. He won league title with the Italian giants. He even managed to reach the final of Champions League trophy. But his journey was cut short by a talented FC Barcelona side.
Despite the loss, the stage was set for Morata. He showed the world his capability by shining at Juventus. Real Madrid realized it was time to bring back their player back to his home. As a result, he returned to Real Madrid for his second spell.
The second spell was fruitful. He won the eluding Champions League trophy this time. At Real Madrid, he shared the dressing room with great personalities like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema.
Morata then decided that it was time to move on. A prospect of finding a new challenge had caught his fancy. As a result, his move to Chelsea FC took place. It was a big money move.
At National level, he has represented Spain at various tournaments (under different age groups). He represented his nation at the Euro 2016 tournament. I hope he will taste success with the National team in near future.
